Aleppo Zgougou pine seeds

Aleppo pine nuts "Zgougou" is a dry fruit consumed in Tunisia only, since the second half of the 19th century.

Composition: rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, Linolenic acid (Omega3), also rich in nutrients and energy, contains vitamin B1, vitamin E and iron also too rich in phosphorus.

Use:

It is used every year in Tunisia at Mouled (Muslim religious festival which celebrates the birth of the prophet Mohammad) in the preparation of an "Assida zgougou" cream.
