Dried chamomile matricaria flowers also called baboundj.
Use:
It is used in herbal tea.
Infusion: infuse 3 to 5 g of dried chamomile flowers in 1/2 liter of water for about 10 minutes.
Maceration (external use): put 5 to 8 g of plants in 1/2 liter of water and keep boiling for 15 minutes. Leave to stand for 4 to 5 hours in the same water then filter.
In external use, it is used to make poultices and rinses in case of conjunctivitis and inflammation of the eyes. In beauty care, chamomile is also found in many shampoos to lighten blond hair as well as to make hair shiny, soft and easy to comb.
